'Countrysweet' peaches on the tree

The University of Massachusetts Extension Agriculture and Landscape Program will once again sponsor a seminar series for back yard gardeners. In the tradition of the Mass Aggie Seminars, the 2008 UMass Home Garden Series will feature UMass Extension Educators and UMass Amherst faculty.

The series of fifteen seminars will run from October 2007 to April, 2008. A broad and diverse range of topics will be presented, covering specifics within several areas including tree fruit, berries, vegetables, flowers, and herbs.

Follow the links in the left hand navigation menu for complete information. The 'About' section reveals the origins of the term 'Mass Aggie', and includes background information on the UMass Extension Agriculture and Landscape Program. Full details about each seminar are outlined in the 'Seminars' section, and program locations and driving directions are listed in the 'Locations' section. Visit the 'Register' section for instructions on how to register for seminars.

Proceeds from these programs will partially support the research and outreach efforts conducted by UMass Extension for farmers and agribusinesses in Massachusetts
